Places names in Britain which contain the name of a British river. I am looking for clues for Q20. Change the direction for a point in tree, plus a valley (8). I have an answer but not too confident about it so any help would be appreciated

The setter has requested clues only Danny so she probably won't say
Frustrating to not know the outcome. She could possibly say which parse matches her answer.
The village I mentioned in Shropshire is spelt "Tweedale" (only one D).

Tweeddale - the dale of the river Tweed has two, but that village does not!
And that is why clues only will never work

Hello dannyk13. I have considered some possibilities and have decided to go for Tweedale as it fits the clue. As I said previously it is spelt with two d's but maybe the setter is unaware of this or the number of letters is wrong and should be 9 not 8. Whatever, I have filled in the answer and the quiz is being posted. Good luck with all your quizzing
