Anybody know of a free live-stream on this one?

My bet, having seen quali yesterday is that we are going to see the safety-car out a number of times.

Many thanks

Obviously the drivers are not used to the track and the safety car is working verrry hard.
It's about time we stopped this petrol-head-fest!

why Atheist?

If you are thinking environmentally, think of all the technology that they are testing as to DRS and all the material science for drag efficiency etc - not only this but there are new technologies being developed for economic hydrocarbon fuels made from CO2 drawn from the air - meaning that existing cars and the distribution network can be used as a carbon dioxide sink - google Porsche-Siemens project in Chile.....where better than F1 to test the fuels even though they are more alkylate-based than normal gasoline....
DTC; I don't know much about the tech stuff you reference, but my feeling is that they glamorise high speed petrol racing. Do they have to use F1 to test new fuels or technology? Most science isn't tested like that, is it? Is boxing encouraged because it enables analysis of brain damage?

Not quite the same as an analogy.....indeed F1 is used for a lot of development in fuels, lubs and especially engines and materials - drive-by-wire being one, the redesign of cylinder heads for fuel-burn efficiency, a thing that can be taken into power or efficiency - then the same is true for aspects such as brake and tyre technology, even the tracks themselves when it comes to bitumen surfacing....
The trouble is, DTC, that I don't think that this sort of high speed personal transport is something we can afford in the world to come. Anyway, I'm butting in to an F1 club, and I shouldn't have done that.
Know its too late now, but possibly RSI from Switzerland. You'd need a VPN (try Windscribe) - that how I get the MotoGP.

it spills over into ordinary vehicles, hydrocarbons, electric or hydrogen....that's my point - as it tests performance limits and leading to higher standards of normal performance and safety.....
If you are going to stop F1 - then you would have to stop all forms of motor racing , the world over .

Then you will have to give up your 2 weeks in benidorm - give up that thing on 4 wheels parked outside your house - stop the transport that deliver food to your local supermarket .
Bazile;
"Then you will have to give up your 2 weeks in benidorm - give up that thing on 4 wheels parked outside your house - stop the transport that deliver food to your local supermarket . "
The only thing that would affect me would be the deliveries to the supermarkets. And I don't see that F1 has anything to do with it.
The sport must, just must stop Verstappen performing like this. I see that the guy wants to be champion and he has huge skill. But putting the brake on as your close competitor is hurtling towards you at mega pace is only going to end in tears. It would have suited Verstappen to have both retired and then he would be odds on in Abu Dhabi.
Keep it clean Max and win if you can but do not get painted as a poor winner by doing such tactics. You play like this and you do not deserve to be a 'Champion.'
you must be joking, Baz - the stuff delivered to my house comes by tortoise, not by F1 vehicles.
