However, I assume that the heavy makeup is for her TV appearances and not for her work in the medical environment.
I don’t care what doctors look like as long as they are clean and capable.

I think she looks good - isn't it nice to be looking at a pretty face rather than some of my doctors who need a brush combed through their hair. But I don't care either way as long as I can be treated.
I think my wife is right when she says women can't win. There was a thread on here about Anne Robinson on Countdown. Lots of comments about her cosmetic surgery (she should grow old gracefully) and a waspish comment about her 'crepey' arms - she should cover them up.
My wife said that if her arms were as toned as Anne's she'd wear sleeveless tops, too, and to help with a bit of crepey-ness
