I read somewhere that you can dislodge something in your eye when doing one.... retina I think. But I'm not medical and don't know what the upshot of that would be.
Hey i recently did bungee jump, i was a little apprehensive at first cos i heard the same thing, however i went ahead with it, and afterwards i felt a little dizzy and my eyes did feel as though they were bulging out of my head at one point but that soon went away. Its cos all the blood rushes to your head, sorry it doesnt answer your question, i dont think you can lose your sight from it but who am i to say!!
if the elastic band was a bit too long you could hit your head on the very hard concrete. this in turn would make your eyes jump out of their sockets and run for cover...

but im not medicaly trained so i could be wrong !!
Only if you have laser surgery on the way down!
It is important that the surgeon performing the op is released at the same time as you and rinses his scalpel in the water at the bottom, so there is no infection to the other eye on the way back up.
if you want to do a bungee jump then you've already lost your marbles!!!
Yes you could dislodge your retina but it would be incredibly unusual and unlucky. You can also dislodge your retina stepping off the curb too heavily. It's not something that happens often but it does happen, I wouldn't worry about it personally. I did a bungee jump and it was brilliant, go on you'll enjoy it, real adrenaline buzz:)
I got two black eyes doing a bungee jump but i hit the water pretty hard so don't know if the water caused it or the bungee but i'd do it all over again no probs
