Can anyone advise me if I need to remove my late husbands name from the property deeds.. if so, how do I go about it.m please.

deeds are largely irrelevant these days. You need to update the land registry entry for the property.
I'm assuming your property is registered and not still using the old paper deeds system, most homes are registered now.
I suggest you use the second form, the PDF version

Dealing with the affairs of your loved one really should be a lot less complicated and time consuming, I feel for you.
There really is no rush to do this particular job and if you'd prefer a solicitor shouldn't be too expensive.
actually you dont until you sell
then the clerk doing your bit of the selling can
"bring the epitome of title up to date"

this can be some time. Me da' died ( bless him) 1973 and we sold his property in 1996 and the fella did all the doo-dah.

i.e. there is not time limit and or trial in this
