I'm somewhat terrified at the character of this woman. I'm not even a hundred per cent certain that she is a person at all. She's an accountant married to an accountant (fun parties I'm sure) and have a concern that she's morphed from the black or red Daleks and it's their ultimate triumph.

She has not been anointed yet, and I have heard mutterings already of a leadership challenge (all be it from the kookie Boris will return cult).
She is a very poor candidate and politically lightweight, and intellectually thick. It has car crash written all over it large. And yes, not the person we need to lead us over the very difficult 2 years ahead.
It will all end in tears.

nobody wished for Truss, they just wished for Boris to go. The decision on whether to replace him with Truss is down to the 0.2% or so of the population who belong to the Tory party.

I read it was 0.1%.

I await to see the total number of voters tomorrow. My guess is that it will be well below the 180,000 that the Conservatives have been claiming as their total membership. Tens of thousand less is my opinion.

She's vacant, not very clever and has the gravitas of a wet cat but I think she has less personal baggage than the outgoing, and might at least try take the governing a bit more seriously. How well she does at it remains to be seen.
