Just had an email from Nationwide to let me know I’ll be receiving £100 for being a loyal customer. That’s in addition to £10 per month recently for using my debit card to pay for my supermarket shopping.

They’re not earning a penny from me, what’s the plot?

Nationwide isn't a bank (owned by shareholders). Instead it's one of the few remaining building societies, which means that it's owned by its members. You're a member so, now that the Nationwide has just made a record profit, you're receiving your share of it.

I'm in this happy position too.
I've not had this, when did it arrive?

Already a thread here. If I remember correctly it will be in your account by the end of June
Wait and see what happens, it could be a scam, i have had a lot of scam emails recently. I am with Nationwide and they have always been good to me.
It's not a scam, although the email you have may be one so dont click on it!

As said above Nationwide made a bumber profit so are sharing it amongst its members. There are rules so just having a current account is not enough. I think you have to have £100 in a saving too.

Go to their site (dont click anything to get there) and check it out.
