Good Morning Birdies. It's Friday!!
Thank goodness the weekend is here, for those who are in dire need of some R&R. For those who are travelling this morning, have a safe journey and unhindered journey.
I don't know what plans you have in store for the coming weekend but here's wishing you a jolly happy one. :-)

At least it looks like a better day than yesterday as, frankly, it was pretty awful all day - those poor emmits who are still around and with young kids to 'entertain'. The day before, I dispatched a family with three under the age of 5 to Callestick, not only for the ice-cream but there's a kid's farm too - and then the Healey Cider centre is half-a-mile up the hill - never mind the interest for the adults, there are things like horse and cart rides around their orchards.
hopefully meeting up with a friend for coffee or tea later, maybe lunch....

Morning, RR. I hope the weather clears for when the family gets there. How are you otherwise?
Morning, DT. We nearly went to Healey's the other year when in St Ives. I reckon the little one would enjoy a tractor ride around the Orchards. I reckon we'd all enjoy it, truth be told :0)
Morning, William. Make the most of today, then. The first day back at work is always a bit of a swizz.

Good morning all, another dreary day here. My son has to go into school, which is in the ULEZ zone, for inset day today. His replacement car won't be ready for another week so he's going to have to pay £12.50 a day to get to work - not a happy bunny. Any news of Minty I hope she's feeling a bit better by now.
Morning Margo. Not heard anything recently, but thinking of her everyday. I hope you're well?
Morning, RR. I've just got back from Turkey last Saturday, just before all the airport chaos. I had Turkey tummy and got badly burnt. No more holidays to take this year but next year we've got a couple of trips booked. Not long until you go to NYC !!

We stayed at the Delphin Be Grand on Lara Beach, Margo. It wasn't the same standard as where we went in Kos the previous year. Little one didn't even like the waterpark - he was just obsessed with riding the lift up and down and keep pestering us all week to go up and down in the lift.
We've decided to shell out the extra and go to Ikos next year. We've booked the Estepona (Andalusia) one. I am looking at a week in Bulgaria though for Whitsun - we'll see.
