Good Morning Early Birds
Good Morning Birdies. Another Saturday and it's set to be a nice one. I was unfortunately woken by another coughing fit. Will it ever end? 😪
I made a nice big batch of soup yesterday so I don't intend to be cooking at all today.
OH, bless him, has just gone to fetch me a cup of tea. He's a keeper.
Whatever you have planned today, have a lovely day 😊

Good morning, Bobbi. Sounds like you have a very nice day planned. It sounds like a charming place you're going to, too.
The beast is awake now, having evicted me from his bed earlier, and I'm trying to get him to eat his toast with all-butter Passionfruit and Mango curd. I've told him it's "Go Jetters Jam" and that he's probably the only boy in his class lucky enough to have it but he's no fool...
Morning, Zacs. Much planned for the day?
Howdy, Johnny!
Morning all. Ive got a tidying, cooking and cleaning day ahead. I've been so busy lately, I've got behind with domestic chores.
Re the tree, I'd buy it. If you are intending to put it in the ground, fine. If it is staying in a large pot, you should move it close to the house. In either case if it gets really cold fleece it.
I'm in favour of putting it in the ground, he wishes to put it in the raised bed which is rather huge and I just think that an olive tree should have its own space rather than share a bed with other trees and suchlike. He's just seen an old gnarly olive tree on sale at £2,500 so I think he's beginning to appreciate what these things can cost when they're really mature.
Shame about your weekend but one cannot complain I suppose when work / money is coming in during this cost-of-living crisis.
Thanks, William. I'm sure we'll venture that way at some point.
