You can at least acknowledge you were wrong about this money maker for the BBC being a waste of license payers money, 10C, and about it having no impact on world/domestic sport.
It's fair to say the only thing you were right about is that you don't like it.
I just googled to find the estimated crowd for the boat race and the answer was about 300,000 people were expected to turn up on the banks of the Thames to watch it. How many other events, free or not, have so many spectators attending.
