did  not  sign  a  contract    //£15  a  month   is too  much for   use  phone  now  and  then   //my  phone  is  samsung  galaxy  a15  thanks

You signed up for the £15 a month rolling contract, Henry.  That means you pay £15 every month until you cancel it

Tesco does the sort of top up pay as you go that you want

THANKS   again   for  all the  help    i  will  go  to  my  bank   and  cancel  dd

Do not do that, cancel through EE first.

I don't understand why they are taking it £5 at a time. The whole thing is confusing

I'm assuming it is a typo and should be £15

If it's £15 a month then they cannot be taking it £5 at a time i.e. 3 x £5 this month, that makes no sense.

barry /////why  should  i  go  to  ee  first  instead  of  my  bank  their  thank u  the  ones  that  paying  the  direct  debit

henry...you are confusing standing orders (which you do cancel via your bank) with direct debits... with the latter, you ask the company you are paying not to "ask for" the payment from your bank.  So you should inform EE first.

If you don't tell EE that you don't want to continue with the service they will keep trying to take the money from the bank and eventually chase you for the debt.  It is not a good position to be in.

They ask the bank for the money every month, you signed an agreement that they may do so.

Question Author

tried   to  get  in  contact     with ee  to  day  no  luch  phone  number  dont  work      150   seems  to  be  a  robot   any  ideas   thanks

May be worth trying live chat on the website.

I'm sure I've got through on 150 though but maybe you have to go through some steps ( press 1 for x, 2 for y)

Henry, 150 is working.

When your call is answered you will be asked to select a number which will connect you to an EE representative.

You may have to wait a short while before the rep answers.

Good luck!

Henry, how did you get on with EE?

Did you contact them?
