I finally got my act together and have come up with..

Lamb shanks in mint gravy, dauphinois potatoes, sprouts, and honey roasted carrots. All prepared and sitting in the kitchen, waiting.

I am lamb thanks tomorrow. Today I'm having pork cooked in red wine & pancetta. Served over pasta. Found the recipe on line.

You are very organised Vagus.  We are having Chicken Korma.

Beef curry, basmaitti rice, samosas and naan bread.. The beef is marinating as I type.

Lamb koftas in harissa sauce with couscous and baby leaf salad

just finished boiling a chicken carcass up and done all the veg ,just got the meat to pick off the chicken and in the oven for a few hours .

Fish and chips, mushy peas.

What a diverse selection of meals will be had this evening!

Ubasses, I'm lazy rather than organised, I've gone off kitchen faffing so just get what needs to be done, done, then spend my time doing..err..not much really.

So, whose meal would you swap yours for? Think I'd go for Sharon's, sounds interesting and tasty.

Liver and bacon.  A ready meal from M&S.

To bulk it out a bit I'll add steamed leeks and carrots.

Probly fried chicken breast with onions & peppers and a side salad.😀

All ready to go - Chicken Kiev with portobello mushroom, chicory, cherry toms, and then a small tray of warmed up tumeric roasties, parsnip chips and red pepper strips.....

I like (lamb) liver but the ready meals always seem to be with bacon which I don't want & liver at the supermarket is in larger quantities than I need (suppose I could freeze some).

just had after i finished work at 12.30 and nipped to the pub for 3 pints, pork sausauges,boiled potatoes,carrots,swede and sprouts washed down with a bottle of newcastle brown ale.

judging by your avatar, fraser, your bottle of brown ale has sprung a serious leak....

Ooh I used to love a bottle of 'dog' in my youth. It tastes too sweet to me now sadly.

Davebro, that's what I do with liver...make a big pot of it with loads of onions and some gravy (I like bacon with it too), eat one portion then freeze what I don't immediately eat in portions.
Works well here because OH hates liver and I love it. It's good to have a couple on standby to have with mash and some veg just when I fancy it.

I finally got my act together and got a small salmon fillet and the remainder of a bag of Argentinian red shrimp out of the freezer. They will be either a stirfry or fried in butter and whatever. Berries and Greek yogurt to follow.

I'm going to cook lamb shanks for Sunday lunch. I had my sprouts - which been in the freezer for ages - for lunch today. A bit of prosciutto chucked in too. Lovely!
