Almcd - I think you'll find Del Boy only had two: DHV 938D and APL 911H.
I have been researching the Trotter's van. There seems to have been more than one registration used on the Reliant Regal in different episodes of OFAH. The registration DHV 938 D seems to be the most prevalent. I have found the following:

http://www.trotters-independent-traders.co.uk/ episodes/a_touch_of_glass.htm

On the above site, Danny Zane Clements comments that in 'A Touch of Glass', the 3 wheeled van's registration is APL 911 H whereas in 'Modern Man' the van's reg is DHV 938 D

On the above site, in the episode 'Yesterday Never Comes', the registration is DHV 938 D

Got my info from here :

Third one in from the left at the top. No doubt it's a bit of a strange one as there'll be loads of wannabes and replicas and this is porbably one.
I got Del's van as FKE 119L
Thomas Tank Engine just had number 1
Today it is Tuesday and the first one without your number puzzle. The day has been sadly vacant. I suspect that you are receiving treatment!

Very best wishes and get well soon!

is this how you would have solved it
many thanks for your good wishes and rest assured normal service will resume this week

bob - I'll sort this out at home tonight!
bob - I assume that the puzzle posted the following was placed on AB by ddon. It was solved by danij using Apollonius' Theorem to give a distance of 45 units.

This method and solution are 100% correct!
