Bog Garden Plants Thought Please

I am ,in my 80th year and going to convert my small-ish pond into a bog garden. I am hopeful some of you out there have experience of Bog plans and would help by suggesting such suitable plants to me?   Thanks in anticipation.  G P J   Chris.

In my experience, "western colt's foot" is a good choice, big drumstick flowers in spring followed by large palmate leaves.
