Computer shutting down

When I am on the internet sometimes, a large box appears telling me that Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. It also gives me the option of notifying them of this problem with a send or dont send option. Can anyone tell me what is causing this please ? Thank you

If you are using Internet Explorer switch to Firefox it's more secure
This error is from WINDOWS explorer and there are lots of reasons it could occur
Try sending the notification it may provide a solution
