How do you know when they are ripe ? How do you eat them?

They go soft when ripe....from sort of apple firm to more tomato-like (if that makes sense??). You can pretty much just eat them like an apple, ie bite in and go for it. You can eat them right through. I take the skin off for my baby, but only cos he can't digest it. they taste like a sort of exotic plum, nice a sweet and juicy. ENJOY!
