Turkey question ... yes, another one

Am I the only one that's not bothered if I never eat it again? What a bland chunk of overhyped consumerist cack it is.

ummmm ... if I wasn't off abroad, I'd be round yours for a slap-up cow & pig roast ... mmmmmmm
RoaldoM ... the reason that turkey is naff shouldn't be blamed on the fact that I always got mine from a friend that raised them, or on the fact that it was perfectly cooked. It's sh1te, and that's a fact. (Delicate? ... yeah, whatever ... unless delicate is a poncy word for bland). BTW, I love fish and pork, turkey isn't even the same damn sport.
Nice one Ratter, made me smile ... truth is, I'll probably be having goat or summat in Tunisia for my dinner on 25th.
(probabaly lamb though ... although dog's ok if cooked well)

Hey Naz ~ How ya doin?
Can't stand turkey myself, but I think that's probably a result of having to face it for chrismas day and then again for days afterwards when I was younger. For years my mum got a huge turkey given to her by my dad's boss and as a result of this, me, my dad, my brother and my sisters had to endure turkey risotto, curry, sandwiches, soup, etc etc. My mum's a veggie so she didn't eat it.
Turkey ~ Yet another useless American import!!
