Baby Toe
5 Answers
Not sure if I have broken my baby toe, after getting dressed yesterday morning I turned around to walk out of my bedroom and to save stepping on my cat who was just sat in my path (he wouldnt get out of the way!) I sort of stepped over him and then tripped and stubbed my baby toe really badly on the bottom of my bed sted, the pain was excrutiating and made me feel quite sick! The little toe has gone black now tha is swollen and really painful I cant walk far on it today....is it broken or just sprained?
Thanks

I knew that I had broken mine because the pain as you say was so excrutiating and I really couldn't walk properly, it was not just a case of it hurting it was just impossible to walk, I also couldn't drive for ages either :( - hope it turns out to be just sprained for your sake, it was a real nuisance as I couldn't wear shoes (luckily mine happened in the summer so was able to wear sandals)
Hmmm, i cant bear anything on my foot at the moment, the pain is quite bad, and the base of my wee toe is also very swollen, I havent been able to wear any footwear at all today, been hobbling about like a 90 y/o lol, been taking pain killers which have dulled the pain to a throbbing ache, have a bag of frozen peas on it at the moment...its almost as big as my big toe... :(
