I bought one a while ago.. It was 'pre-owned' and deeloped a fault, took it back and got a replacement.. getting to the point, this new one i've noticed plays dvds that'v been copied.. would this play copied games? any1 any ideas? microsoft seem to have lost interest in the original xbox anyway judging by the sheer lack of new software, so turning to buying 1 or 2 copies wouldn't hurt..

most, if not all dvd players would play copied discs but i would be surprised if it played games.
the old xbox had 3 different make for dvd drives, the reason it now plays copied dvd's is due to the fact that you now have a samsung drive in your xbox as apposed to a thompson drive.
unfortunatly it will only play copied games if the xbox is chipped or softmodded
