i have removed two trees now i have to kill the roots can i drill the stumps and add a chemical if yes what can i use

Drill holes in the stump and put in "Root out" cover over with plastic bag or similar and be patient, good luck, Ray

other people may have different view but that is the only one I have used.
Ray's answered that perfectly!
I find it's best to drill the holes fairly close to the edge of the stump, as there is more living tisue close to the bark (cambium layer)
We used creosote and it worked a treat when applied to the top of the roots so it is absorbed.
you can not buy creosote any more
Consider leaving them be: they will grow moss and attract wildlife
