BT Phone Line + Tiscali Broadband

Following some advice from fellow ABers, I am going to get Tiscali Broadband (�9.99 option).

Just wanted to know how this works - I have a BT phone line - will BT still send me itemised phone bills or will this be sent from Tiscali? Who do I pay Bt or Tiscali?

Confused to who I will get bills from? Anyone explain this?

You will still pay BT for the line rental but your phone calls will be through Tiscali and added onto the �9.99 monthly fee.

You can have the Tiscali broadband without the phonecall bit and continue to use BT for that bit if you like.

I have the tiscali phonecalls bit and their bills are not as clear as BT's and not itemised very well.

I have the �19.99 Broadband package from Tiscali that includes free calls at any time to all landline 01 & 02 numbers but I still pay line rental to BT because that was the only option at the time.

You can now have your line rental with Tiscali instead of BT.

Tiscali bills come on-line and I think they are very clear.

Overall my phone bill is much cheaper

Just remember to cancel any other deals you have with BT - ie switch back to option 1 or whatever it's called these days.

You just want to pay them basic line rental with no calls included because your calls are all routed through Tiscali anyway.
