Who is the best I S P
Hello,
We are thinking of changing our I S P and know we'll get some decent advice from A B members.
At the moment we have the following:-
B T line rental paid quarterly about 36
Orange I S P 27 paid monthly
Talk Talk calls which work out at about 11 monthly.
And pay 42 per month to Sky.
So can anyone suggest a way of reducing the cost of all this and perhaps "Bundling" them all if that is possible
"Gordons" pension pittence is looming and we need to rationalise these costs.
We both have "pay as you go" mobile phones and don't want to change this.
Many thanks Chris

At the mo it 2 for 20 so phone and broadband for 20 a month and no line rental.
Depends if you want TV too, as with Sky. Also sign on to the cheapest rate, I paid over the odds with BT for ages then managed to downgrade and its the same (but I'm still paying over the odds!)

Well, as I've answered elsewhere from time to time, I have Talktalk and I have no complaints. It seems whether you are lucky or not in who deals with your application at Talktalk. For landline with free calls all the time, including free broadband with no restrictions and landline on Talk3 plan, I pay just over 20 per month. I am waiting for my 1.1 Mbs to be increased but they tell me that depends on how far you are from the BT exchange and 'unbundling'.
I signed up for Talktalk about last November and a lot of trouble for about three weeks. Every day I was on to them for Help??? sometimes for three hours a day and all I got was a sore throat trying to explain what the problems were to some polite young girl in Calcutta who had very little understandng of common English.
In the end I managed to get through to what they term 2nd line assitance and spoke to an older Yokshireman who really knew what he was talking about and gave me guildance and told me how to alter the settings and from then on it was a whole new ballgame apart from one slight hiccup.
After things settled down I pay about 21 a month for Broardband and free phone calls worldwide but not 0845 and one other premium number who I don't remember at the moment and it seems to be pretty fast..
