My son of 17yrs who resides with his Mum attends College more than 12hrs a week & has just started a part time job of approx 10hrs on minimum wage, he gets weekly EMA grant from college his his Mum still entitled to Child Benefit for him?

Yes, she can get child benefit for him while he is under 20 and still in ft non-advanced education. If he is at a recognised educational establishment full-time usually means at least twelve hours a week of teaching (lunches and study time do not count!!)
