Is it a sign of the times when we find the "N" word offensive, and yet accept the "F" word as part or the every day vocabulary?
I grew up in the 60s, and lived in the Notting Hill area of London. At that time I had many black friends, and the "N "word was used as maybe the not most endearing of terms, it was used as a fairly friendly term of greeting amongst us .
On a purely BB note, Charly - wannabee - never will !
The rest - soon to be forgotten (unless one of the few remaining phone in quiz channels are desperate ! )
