Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease and is very easy to treat with a course of antibiotics. It is nothing to be afraid of. You are lucky that it's been picked up now. If you ignore it, you will definitely have problems further down the line, so you and your boyfriend must get it sorted. Good luck!
I hvaent got Chlamydia so I dont know why all the stupid answers. I've had loads of different tests as me and my partner are trying to conceive. He has been tested for all Infections and got the all clear for everything.
I was just wondering and thinking about everything.
yeah I did mean PID! I had a misscarraige about 8 months ago and I read this can e caused through certain procedures such as misscarraiges. Is this true?

Oh bless you! PID is usually acute when caused by a d&C, the symptoms would be pretty strong and come on very quickly. With chlamydia the symptoms can be mild and you could have it for a couple of weeks, a couple of months a couple of years before symptoms manifested.
Pee tests dont pick it up. Laparoscopy or ultrasound, if you have signs of infection, Tenderness in the lower abdomen, changes in vaginal discharge (green, yellow, lumpy or brown), fever, feeling sick.....symptoms can often be worse often worse before a period.
Its very unlikely you have it through a d&c.
