From Hell
Three stars to you if I could poppet!
That would be 'From Hell' CD :o)

Get in the bloody queue, woman! lol. Of course we would be charging. Just enough for a gin, and if we were lucky and doubled up maybe a nights lodgings...heh heh
Penny a night Pip?

Oh.... and red wine rather than gin? Other than that I've the wenches outfit at the ready.
How about a fiver and a bottle of sangria? I think that is all that could be managed.

The outfit will be fine as long as it stinks a bit!
Pippy doodle doo... have you not seen my 'jokes'? You must know I stink!!!

Right... ready for off-ski? Sounds like a deal to me!
Spudqueen, I have no great interest in the Jack the Ripper story and just provided the opening answer above, as it seemed pretty straightforward and easily linked-to. Thus, you are quite likely to be right as regards earlier theories about Sickert...I wouldn't know.
However, I think it unlikely that anything published over 20 years ago had much to say about DNA evidence which - as best I recall the book - was a significant element of Cornwell's theory. Maybe, therefore, just a little more than a mere "raking-up" of old stuff! But...what do I know?
Hi Quizmonster - didn't mean to upset you. It's just that sometimes some famous writer comes up with something that is feted as new when in fact a lot of it is old research. Not only with this Walter Sickert thing but also about 3 years ago someone came up with some 'new' material about Ann Boleyn yet it was all detailed in a Jean Plaidy book - she certainly did her research!
