X BOX 360 HD Problem?

when i plug my x box into my tv,which is hd ready,i get the game up no problem,but no sound,ive checked all my settings on tv,and console all ok,any ideas?

What lead are you using ? Some hd cables only carry piocture not sound - have you got one of these ?

hi,the lead im using is the one that came with the x box, HD/AV cable,with the two options (six plugs),you plug five in and leave one out when connecting to a hd tv,(yellow one) ive done this several times.........but no good,

had a similar problem when I took my 360 to my parents for the weekend. turned out there was more than one audio in input on the back of the tv, plugged it into the other one and sound

plug the red and white audio cables into a audio input on the back of the tv or the front :-)
