My computer is saying that it only has 63 Mb, and therefore will not run some of my children's games. Could a virus cause loss of Megabytes? What do I do to get my computer back up to 64 Mb or more?

I expect this means lack of space on your Hard Drive. Either delete some programs/files you don't need, or empty your recycle bin or get a bigger Hard Drive! I don't think it's a virus, these usually just stop things working.
An alternative answer is, You could be referring to RAM - sounds like it is possibly shared with video memory so that's why you are only getting 63 when you have 64 installed. Buy more memory to solve the problem - you can get a further 64MB for 40 pounds or thereabouts. installation of the RAM is reasonably simple but if you have any doubts then get someone who knows what they are doing to put it in. As the previous answer said - It doesn't sound like a virus and in my opinion it is definitely not.
I recommend you get a bigger and better hard drive, like mentioned in the last answer. You could get a decent one for about 75 - 80.
