How far in advance do the courts know of which cases will be heard and when?

Not sure exactly, but I would assume quite well in advance, to ensure that witnesses are available etc. When I was called as a witness I was given around 7 months notice

Thanks for reply. Its a land registry tribunal hearing but I have'nt heard from them re a date. As I know which court it will be held at I wondered if i could phone the court and ask them if it had been listed. The only ref I could give them is the name of the applicant and respondant plus the solicitors details. Is it worth me doing this?
