Strumpet lipstick

Following on from a comment Wardy made, can someone please explain the difference between strumpet lippy & non strumpet lippy?

My late mum wore red lippy & could never be described as a strumpet.
Her idea of a strumpet was someone who wore an ankle chain and/or a fur coat & no knickers.

This is infact a very good question that has indeed baffled sociologists, anthropologist, comesticists, and indeed strumpets for many years.

I am no scientist, but I would say it is the intensity of the rouge and the thickness of application.

I see China Doll admits to wearing strumpet lipstick but is not a strumpet. Is this possible??? I break the law, but am law-abiding, I eat pork, but am a vegetarian, I hate pop-music but love Steps and 5Star.

A very difficult question. Answers of which are way above the intellect of the average ABer.

If you posted about "Trollop eye shadow" or "Hussy mascara", the answer would be easy.

Mrs O and CD ~ you have to be very careful, or you could be accused of looking like Hilda Ogden.

There has to be a slight parting of the lips..as long as you don't drool!

Here's a free tip ladies.
Don't do what I did on Sat night & apply lippy in a moving car without a mirror unless you want to look lke you've applied it during an earth tremor.
