Strictly Live ????

I know there are a lot more important things going on in all our lives but this question is bothering me.
Strictly Come Dancing is on at 6.45 this evening (Sunday) but Darren Bennett (who is still in) and Lilia Kopylova (who isn't) both were at the switching on of the Christmas Lights in Sheffield this evening.
Does voting continue until the programme is shown or is the cut off point the time it is recorded ?? With all the recent problems over telephone voting I wonder ????Discuss !!!!

They say every Saturday to vote up to 9 pm - after that, your votes won't count. It's been obvious from week one that the Sunday programme wasn't live.

yeah they don't film anything on a sunday to do with the votes its all done on the saturday. - which means you can actually usually find out the result on the saturday at about 11/11.30 ish... - not that i do that at all.... lol!

As above. They always say the phone lines close at 9 pm after which you may be charged but your vote dosent count. The celebrity audience are always the same on "both" nights which is a dead giveaway, coupled with the fact that, for example last week len said "blah blah .. the way john danced TONIGHT" and for example this week kates husband said she's been holding back and put all her effort into tonights dance so shes got nothing left (to go in a dance off later the same night)
Also giveaways. Also, tess's hair is always either straight "both" nights or curly "both" nights

It's not a giveaway - it never did claim to be live on Sunday nights. Len and Bruno are well on their way to the US by Sunday morning as they discussed at length on one of the shows recently.

And they always refer to startingtraining on the Sunday morning after the results are in.

i'm not sure i agre ethel - last sunday they implied it WAS sunday by brucie saying his great grandchild had been born today on rememberance sunday and had been called poppy

Is Brucie actually live on any show? Thought he had died and someone forgot to tell him.

They do refer to it being a Sunday, as that is the day it is shown, but it never says it is live.
At the beginning of the Show on Saturday the annoucement is that it is live.

It is recorded on Saturday night. The audience are the same & even the "celebrity" ones are wearing the same clothes.
