Yesterday morning Queen Pauline posted her final set of four words. You then did your utmost to tune into her mind to guess what other words had been chosen to be matched with them.

I am now in a position to reveal that Queen Pauline chose the following word pairings:

HARD boiled


Once again there were some popular choices amongst those and so there were even more scorers than last week. But did the points go to the ones that mattered? Were you one of them? More to the point, who is heir to the February throne?

Glad you enjoyed the game x-ray and I'm sure everone is looking for(d)ward to the February game. Unfortunately we have a bit of work to do first persuading fordward to play ball. Maybe a couple of nightcaps will help him to see it in a more favourable light.

Sorry to interrupt your interregnum musings but I have GOOD NEWS and BAD NEWS

The good news is that fordward has relented and agreed to set the links for February.

The bad news is for Strix who will now have to try all over agian to get the chance of the honour.
