Home Video to DVD

Hi All
I have just converted some old anolog VHS onto my PC using Dazzle software. I have now put this onto DVD but when I play back on DVD (On my DVD player and on laptop) and try the fastforward it stops and takes me back to the start of the DVD.
In a word, all the video is on my DVD but it will not fastforward on any DVD device.
Please help!!

I'm tempted to ask why you bothered putting it on the dvd if you fast forward over it?

I've seen this a number of times .... but for a number of reasons - sometimes because the encoder doesn't create key frames .... sometimes because the decoder doesn't see the key frames.
