problem with memory card

ive just bought a digital picture frame and a 1gb SD memory card to go with it.
i put the SD card in my card reader and added some pics from my computer to it no problem. however, an hr later when i tried to add a few extra pics i got the message" cannot copy pics as card is write protected, remove write protection or use another card"
whats this write protection and how do i remove it? the card came with no instructions.

Take the card out and have a look at the side, there is sometimes a little switch or slide thing that unlocks and locks it, not sure if its on the one you have but i have come across them. it could be that when inserting it into the picture frame it was moved to protect postition. im stuck if it hasnt got a switch.
