Just received entrance tickets for Disney Universal Seaworld etc. Have noticed you now need Photo ID last visit was in 1999 I suppose its a legacy of 9/11. Can any recent visitor tell me is it acceptable to the theme parks to use a photocopy of passport to gain entrance rather than risk losing a passport.
Many Thanks

We went in 2004 and did not need photo id, must be a new thing.
Weird, we were there last year and didn't need it! We don't usually get tickets in advance because we only do a couple of parks each visit and certainly wouldn't think to take any ID with us. Do you have a driving licence with a photo on it? Perhaps it would be worth checking their web sites.
We went to Florida last summer and whilst we didn't visit any Disney parks we went to Universal, Islands of Adventure and Seaworld and did not need any photo id. They did take a fingerprint to match your ticket to you, presumably so you couldn't sell your ticket to someone else.
have you got a drivers' licence that would do?
was there last may, your passport is fine, just take that
