Also check to see if a new dialer has been added to your computer. Click on Tools and then Internet Options. Now click on the Connections tab. You should see a list of all the Dial-up settings. Check to ensure that your regular dial-up connection is still set as the default. If it isn't reset it as default then close Internet Explorer and kill your connection. You should now be able to open IE again with your default dialler.
