hi all,
can anyone suggest a good hand cleaner,
( not to abrasive ), my wife does a lot of gardening, her hands get really dirty & stained, so any suggestions for an affective
cleaner would be much appreciated.
thanks.

swarfiga (not sure if thats how u spell it) its green goo but is absolutely brilliant to get all sorts of stuff off of hands and doesn't irritate or dry out hands plus its quite cheap to buy

a few years ago someone gave me a bar of gardener's soap which worked wonders but i don't know if it is still available try a garden centre
Swarfega, you can't beat it in my opinion.

Any decent washing up liquid should do the trick...i often mix mine with granulated sugar to make a poor mans swafega
If she doesn't want to wear gloves, my tip is for her to run her fingernails over a bar of soap before she hits the garden. This will keep her nails clean.
A good scrub for hands is to mix olive oil with sugar.
In addition to all of the above it is also helpful to apply Barrier Cream to the hands
