Technical Problems

These seem to be abundant at the moment.  All sort of irregularies are occuring.  Would it not be an idea to sort these all out by 'closing' the site for a short time and concentrating on the problems.  It is not doing the site any favours by operating as it is at the moment.  It is basically a very good site but needs some hard work by the 'technies'.

FP - Yes, I think we could cope without using AB for a few days - especially with all the Christmas preparations going on!

P.S. I've just realised that not all AB users share the same religion as me & might not celebrate Christmas. They might still want to use AB running up to & over the Chrismas period. Having said that, I'm sure a couple of days off wouldn't go amiss.

By the rule of diminishing third harmonics and ablative perturbations of the geotrajectory I calculate that it should be Saturday. Just give me a bit longer and I'll be able to tell you which Saturday.....

There are a few problems around at the moment. Every time I click on a question I get an error message. My page for this question looks like this:-

If I post an answer another error message appears and I get taken back to the home page.

If a few days shutdown meant these problems would be cured I wouldn't object.

Me too . I also can't get more than 20 replies by clicking on the "next 20" button. It takes me to a cannot display page.
