can't seem to get it to work, to send photos and other files,dus anyone know why it might not be working! does it av anything to do with the fact that im on pay as you go?

Hi, i dont have a nokia, i had a sharp and after trying to use the IR for absolutely ages, i read up only to find that it could only be used to access the internet via a mobile as opposed to landline - maybe it is the same idea.

Skids

You can only connect a Nokia via IR to either a computer with IR and a Nokia modem installed or another Nokia phone with IR. If you are trying one or other of these, then there's probably a problem with your phone, assuming that you do know that IR is line-of-sight only.

yeh cheers skids im trying to send pictures from my phone to another nokia with I.R. and i've trying putting them by each other touching each other, 30 cm apart everything but nothing worked. it didnt work when the other phone tried to send something to my phone either!??
