For a while now I have had headache in my temples that a paracetamol does not cure. I also have tinnitus. For the last few days I've noticed that I've been getting very dizzy and spaced out and can't really focus on the tv or pc screen. I will go to the Docs as soon as I can get an appointment, but any idea what this could be? Has anyone else had this? I've also had other symptoms like flare-ups of arthritis in my joints and the middle of my foot constantly twitches. :(

Classic case of TMJ. Google this and make an appointment with your dentist.
Didn't you go on Sulfasalazine?

If the headaches started after it could be that as I had headaches with mine and had to introduce it to my body slower.

Works better for me now I've slowed it down, didn't want to come off it as it has been great for my tummy (they think my arthritis may be Crohns related).

It can cause tinnitus too I believe, I have it anyway with meniere's (not sure about dizziness as I also have that with the menieres) so couldn't say if mine was from that or the Sulfasalazine.

Have you got a rhumotology nurse you could ring or someone at gastro (I think I remember you saying you had ulcerative colitis?).

I don't have jaw pain though!
HI Jenna, no I didn't take the sulfasalazine- I am very wary of taking any more pills and want to try and cure this any other way I can! x
Hi Scarlett (that's weird, that's my name too!!) - I think you should go to the doctor and get a blood test. Make sure they check your levels of vitamin B12 - sounds to me like you might have a B12 deficiency or pernicious anaemia. I get some of those symptoms too - look it up and have a look on the pernicious anaemia society website. Doctors don't automatically test for B12 deficiency, so you need to ask for it. If it is it, it's no big deal, you just have B12 injections to keep your levels up. Good luck!
