Has anyone used this? How did you get on with it? Im terrified of the side effects, after the last lot of tablets i was given made me violently ill. Any insight / advice is welcomely received. Thanks all...

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.i have been on anti depressants for twenty yrs on and off...i feel they do not work...nothing has worked for me ever...i am still the same..i last took citaloprm 1 yr ago...sticked them out for 3 weeks ,made me fidgety,anxious,more depressed...i refuse to take anything now and i just ride the storm...am very depressed at min but i am trying to get back into gym etc and lead healthier lifestyle...i am going to try st johns wort also....good luck
I to have taken citaloprm for a number of years, and they suit me fine.
What this thread proves is that most of us on medicaion know from experience - different frugs suit diferent people, and what makes one ill suits another just fine.
You need to try your prescribed dose for about three weeks to let them settle and any side-effects to subside. If after that you have not settled with them, go back to your GP, but finding the right a-d is well worth the time taken.
Sorry you have had such a bad reaction - don't let it put you off, most a-d's aver very sophisticated these days, and the effects are usually minimal and temporary.
