Desktop icons

Dunno how i done it, but my icons on the desktop are massive - how do i put them back to the original sizes? My dtop resolution is set the way i like it, 1152 x 864 and they are normally alot smaller.

The only way I know is to right click mouse on desktop, properties, appearance, change font size to normal. I think there is a way to select large or small icons but I can't remember how it's done.

Right click on the desktop and select Properties.  Go to the appearance tab and then select Effects...  De-select Use Large Icons and click OK.

In the Appearance tab click on Effects and see if 'Use large icons' is checked
