Hi

One of my son's favourite film DVDs keeps sticking and no amount of wiping with a damp cloth seems to fix it. It doesn't seem to be scratched. . Is there any way you can repair discs or is it just a case of buying a new one.?

Thanx

You could try holding the dvd under the hot water tap and rubbing it with your finger all over fairly hard, dry it off and try it again, it usualy does the trick.
Have you tried playing this DVD in a different player?
Do you get this problem with other DVD's in the same player? The optics in the players get dirty and it may be that this is the problem (altho it may be a combination of the 2 in this instance).
Buy a DVD cleaner and correct cleaning fluid, and follow instructions.
You will generally find that cheap DVD players will play damaged DVDs, when the better one's will not.
