Why do cats sleep in obscure places?

Buddy was until the last 2 days content to wedge himself between the kettle (i dont use it so it wasnt the heat- and the coffee jar-now -he he has taken to wedging himself between my childrens photos and the CD player -the whole table is skew wiff.O forgot between the kettle and the table it was on top of the fire and the photos got lashed and he stretched out -no heat again?

I have a Buddy album -I know they are all the same but dont you just love them when they are daft?

morning routine before going to work

go to car open bonnet get rid of cat shut bonnet go to work

this has been my routine for these last 5 years

why the cat sleep under the bonnet is a mystery to me !

dustypuss - at least it is your car and not the car of an unsuspecting neighbour.

It seems that cats sleep anywhere that is inconvenient for us humans.

thank you for caring alfieblue, ive not heard any thing over the weekend, so taking no news as good news, he was perking up a bit when i left on fri, i think hes taken a bad fall off his window ledge and maybe hurt himself and its put him off stride, the miserable weathers not helping either.

roystonevass - you clearly don't have cats then... of course our cats speak to us ! Thats is one of the charms of cats - we don't own them, they own us - and have us perfectly trained to know exactly what they want.

I have to agree with Misty ^^. I am now totally fluent in cat (again, second time around, long gap in between when I got a bit rusty but practised it on my neighbour's cats....)
