arrrghhhhhh, my mobile is broken!

I have a Nokia 6300 and it wont send texts, keeps freezing and then dying on me! I need my phone, its my lifeline!!!!

I am on contract with 3, what happens now? will they sort it out for me and give me a replacement or what? i NEED my phone!!!!! I am going into phones 4 U in the morning !

where do i stand on this one, anyone know?

have you got insurance?
how long have you had the phone?
If you've not had it long it may still be under some sort of warantee and they may fix it for free, I think that happened with my Samsung last time.

hi guys, thanks for your prompt replies. I have only had the phone about 3 months. It has always played up but today its gone mental! I keep getting a message telling me i have 3 voicemails, i have had this message about 15 times today, my phone keeps freezing and then it goes off! grrrrrrrrrr
i work for a mobile phone company on the handset faults department. if youhave insurance with 3 they will replace your handset if it was sent directly from them, if it was through phones 4 u and is within the first 28 days they will also replace this, if either of those options fail then you can send it back to nokia under the guarentee which i think is 24 months (but they do not give you a replacement in the time it is away), i would also suggest you perform a master reset which can usally be found in the security settings on your phone( it may ask for a security code which will be12345 unless you have changed this), if you are going to do this then back up all of your personal data such as pics, vids, and music

thank you very much for your detailed advice shellad83. I dont have any phone insurance. i hate it! have never used it and have been ripped off with it. i will go into phones 4 U tomorrow and see what they come up with. I have a spare phone but it wouldnt accept my sim card. :-(
good luck with phones 4 u they are usally very reluctant to replace phones, i would advise you to question there warrenty which should be the sales of goods act ( 6 month from purchasing the handset).

problem solved, had overload on my text messages, i think it was struggling to cope with 1, 300 of them in my inbox lol
