My cat keeps being sick, but it looks a bit like poo.
A kindof browny colour-thick liquid sort of texture.
There's only a small amount though.

Does this mean it's coming from his bowel or is it just a funny colour from what he's been eating. He's been sick bout 3 times in last week.

He's still eating and seems happy, but I dont know whther to take him to the vet, but this does cause him distress, thats why I've not rushed there.

Any advice is appreciated.

Has your cat been wormed lately?or been eating meeses to pieces? my cat tends to throw up if I've not wormed her or may be hair balls?
not sure if this any help, otherwise the vet

Oh no I've not wormed him in a while, maybe I should try that to see if that stops the problem.
It could be your cat is trying to sick up furballs, I think one of my cats was doing this and I sorted it by buying some ointment from the pet shop. However I would always advise a vet should be the first stop in anything like this, you could try phoning them for some advice first?
Cheers Sue
My fourteen year old cat has been bringing these fur balls up all his life, they do look like poo and he does it at least once a week ,mines a persian ,so by the time he's cleaned himself there's an awful lot of fur that wants bringing up,they just need access to some grass to chew, that usually does the trick.

Thanks for all your help.
I've wormed him now and he doesn't seem to have done it for a while, so like say could have been fur ball or worms.
Glad I didn't take him vets as ok and would ahve caused him stress and me a hefty bill!
