Don't have Vista.
Won't AVG, Spybot, zone alarm etc. work (or are there Vista versions)? And Ad Block Plus as a Firefox addon?

Personally (and I think these all work on vista)

Anti virus: AVG

I use the following on Vista:

Comodo Free Firewall (may be a bit too "advanced" for some)

Spybot Anti Spyware

Avast Free Antivirus.
