weeal - that's cheered me up too - sorry at your expense re spiders.. ps saw that pic of that scary spider the other day... still giggiling about you know what!! tee hee
A web on the conkers !!! Oh weeal , that's that idea on the head then . I'm just glad to see those horrid huge garden spiders in their hundreds with thick huge webs going now the winters here. I'm worse now I know how many eyes they have .
Oh, weeal, you made me laugh!! (I'm fine, thank you, btw!). You know I like spiders - there was one in the bath the other night, so I put a little ladder (a few sheets of loo roll!) over the side of the bath so it could climb out! I would've got it out myself, but it was late and I was going to bed. It got out OK, but headed for K. Jnr's bedroom and I'm afraid he admitted the next morning that the spider was no more - poor wee thing!! K
Hi weeal - the conker advice was probably me - this is the 2nd year I have used them. We were getting quite a few before we replaced the conkers, then I think we had a couple in the first few days, but only one since, it was a little one and seemed to die very quickly. I spread them through the rooms - windowsill, top of door, mantlepiece etc. I did think that the conkers don't seem to be as good a crop as last years - this years seemed to shrink and dry very quickly and seem very hollow. Might need to invest in some chesnut oil to top ithe smell up. :o)
go to wilkos and get some spiders be gone spray with chestnut oil in it. Spray it around your door and window frames. I also heard that conkers stop spiders coming into your house!
