Train ticket refund

Good morning, I purchased a train ticket last week to take me to Bournemouth from Birmingham on Christmas eve, however, work committments mean that i will not be able to travel afterall. Does anyone know if i will be entitled to a refund on my unused ticket, it cost me �61.00. thanks, and Happy Christmas to you all.

It's a standard 'anytime' single.

Yes, you should bet a refund no proble, it's usually only super saver or similar that has refund restrictions on it.

Are the terms and conditions not printed on the back of the ticket?

You should be able to yes as I have refunded tickets before becasue I was unable to go.

I wasn't even me who paid for it but I was the one who got the money refunded back to my card.

So I'd say you shouldn't have any problems.

Yes you can get a refund. There will probably be a �10 fee.

All anytime and offpeak tickets are refundable. Advance tickets are not usually.
