That may help but have you tried douching your naval cavaties with salt water which assist the clearing of passages bunged up by catarrh.
eve....clearly the initial sinus infection (indeed if it ever was) needs investigation, as, if there is indeed an abnormality then appropriate treatment may will be required. Return to your GP and ask his opinion re. referall to an ENT Surgeon.
My partner suffered with this for months, antibiotics not helping - as they were probably never needed - GP's think they solve everything. Eventually she was given a steroid based 'inhaler' ( the type you squirt up your nose as inhaling)- don't know it's name sorry, but it's worked. Once a day before bed - pain and discomfort finally subsided for her (and me!).
I have suffered with spasmodic chronic sinusitis for years!

I've have a few doses of anti-biotics in the past which did help for a while, but then it reappears.

My gp doesn't recommend sinus washes, as he used to do them himself at the local hospital & says they don't always work.

I have a steroid based nasal spray on prescription.

Hope you get sorted out soon Eve.
